Splurge Vs Save: Quilted Vests

One of the items on my Christmas list as you may have read, is the Jcrew Excursion vest. Vests are practical, yet fashionable and are a great layering piece during the fall and winter months. 

I love love love this vest, but it's a little bit pricey at $120.

But then, after some research I discovered this vest!

It's an almost exact lookalike for $40. $75 cheaper than the Jcrew vest! I've been asking for either one of these vests for a while now. Crossing my fingers that one of them will be under my Christmas tree....

I think all these options are great especially the H&M sweater because it's such great deal. I recently saw it in store and for $35, it was pretty good quality. Fair Isle is perfect for the holidays and it's versatile! It can be paired with a skirt, it can be paired with jeans. It can be dressed up and it can be dressed down. The possibilities are endless!
